How do I Embed Slideshow on Existing Page?

We are switching over our homepage slideshow from flash to the html5. I get the slideshow to appear/play in the sample html file on our server but how do I embed that slideshow into the homepage we already have?

Anyone have any ideas here? I'm just getting a white box when i place the embed code on my page. Referencing the source.xml file correctly...
