In the Online Panel for Thumbnail Slide Transparent Background, there's a function "ShowImageIndex" -- however, the tool tip does not give a clear explanation of what the index is.
index- The index of the image associated to the requested image object. The index is 0-based, meaning that the first image has an index of 0. You can find this also in the pdf manuals [screencast.com]
