SWF rather than image in Slideshow?

Is it possible to have the slideshow display an animated SWF rather than a static image? I've referenced a SWF in the XML of my slide show, but it only is showing the first frame of the animated SWF, not the entire show. Please help!

The slideshowbox component was developed to only load images, therefore what you are trying to obtain is not possible.
