Hella again, i tried to insert some escape codes in the description text within the source.xml to make it multi lines but with no success. Do i have to work this out in AS 3.0 in flash ?

We have just made a silent update to the SlideshowBox package. This update consists of bugfixes and changes to the behavior of JavaScript templates on mobile devices.

Bugfixes
- fixed a problem of the audio player not working properly when the JavaScript templates were displayer in Internet Explorer 9 (the audio player wouldn't stop when clicking on it)
- fixed a problem for the ModernSlide and ThumbnailSlide JavaScript templates that did not set the label for the Close button

JavaScript template updates
- the JavaScript templates of SlideshowBox have been updated to use jQuery 1.7.1
- the JavaScript templates now react to touch actions when displayed on mobile devices: the templates use the swipe left/right actions to display the previous/next images instead of clicking on the images; if the controls are set to automatically hide, they can be displayed again by a simple tap on the slideshow.

FrameSlide
- image navigation is done by using the swipe left/right actions
- tap on thumbnails displays the associated image (the image thumbnail is no longer displayed)
- tap on next image(s) selects and displays the image
- tap outside of the images displays the controls and image information (when autoHideControls = true) and automatically hide after the time specified by the controlsHideSpeed parameter

GridScale
- in the thumbnails view navigating through the thumbnails is done using swipe up/down actions, when the top or bottom control bars are also displayed
- in the thumbnails view the top/bottom control bars automatically hide after the time specified by the controlsHideSpeed parameter
- in the large image view the bottom control bar with the full screen button has been removed and the full screen button has been placed inside the center control bar (this update has also been implemented in the Flash version of the template)
- navigating within the large image mode is done by using the swipe left/right actions
- in the large image mode, when autoHideControls is set to true, the center control bar is displayed with a tap on the slideshow

ModernSlide
- image navigation is done by using the swipe left/right actions
- tap outside of the images displays the controls and image information (when autoHideControls = true) and automatically hide after the time specified by the controlsHideSpeed parameter

PanAndZoom
- image navigation is done by using the swipe left/right actions
- tap outside of the images displays the controls and image information (when autoHideControls = true) and automatically hide after the time specified by the controlsHideSpeed parameter

SimpleFade
- image navigation is done by using the swipe left/right actions

Can't get Auto Detect working in multiple browers (1 reply)

I want to use the Auto-detect version of the SimpleFadeThumbview slideshow. I have set up a blank test page here with all 4 versions:

Auto-detect only works in Safari/Apple devices, while Javascript is the only one that works on a PC in Chrome, Firefox, and IE. I have both Flash and Javascript enabled/updated on my PC, so if I understand correctly, all should work on the PC, while only Auto-detect and JS should work on Apple devices, correct?

I would like to use Auto-detect only so it will work across the board - what is the problem?

Is there anyway I can use a version with as2? (1 reply)

The instructions provided to use this product don't seem to be working.

Here is what I did using the Javascript format:

1) Created embed code using appropriate RSS feed URL as well as website ID code. The template chosen was SimpleFade.

2) Via FTP I uploaded the SimpleFade Javascript folder onto the website's Root Folder. I changed nothing within the folder that was originally provided.

3) I pasted the embed code into HTML body tags.

4) Uploaded to the website.

These are the only steps I took. Is there something I didn't do? Some step that I missed?

I'm hoping someone can help me with what I also hope is a simple query.

I use CoffeeCup for my website stuff. I know ZERO about coding. I bought this because CoffeeCup only offers a flash based photo album and I wanted something that could be viewed on an idevice, etc.

So inside CoffeeCup there's an HTML tool. You basically click the box, paste your code, and that's it.

So using Slideshow I populated a javascript code using a Picasa RSS feed, copied the code, pasted it in the HTML box over in CoffeeCup -- and nothing. It turns the HTML box into the appropriate size, but that's it.

Do I need to download something onto my actual *server* for this to work? Do I need to add some additional coding to the Javascript?

If I need to download something onto my server, could you please tell me what I need to download and where I need to put it on my server? If there's any additional code that I need to install, that would also be appreciated.

Slideshowbox using java version for ThumbnailSlide. The field closeButtonLabel:"Close", wont change no matter what I word I put in the "close". Even if I leave this entry blank it still shows the word Close, any suggestions on how to change it?

Is it possible to have multiple slideshows in one slideshow-box player? Like selectable catagories? Currently using simpleThumbview SWF & js, would like catagories ie; weddings, events, portraits...

Hello,
I'm going to explain you below step by step how to embed Slideshowbox into a wordpress blog .

1.Download the slideshow package, you can get it from here - [www.jumpeyecomponents.com] .
2.Unzip the package, browse the folder 'HTML embed' and choose a template from the folder 'Templates' .
3.Upload the desired template to your own server with FileZilla or any FTP client .
4.Login into your wordpress administration panel .
5.Go to 'Posts' -> 'Add new' -> Select the 'HTML' container, afterwards you have to initiate the template html file through an
iframe code, let's say we use the javascript version of the slideshow with the 'FrameSlide' template, see the example below:

where the width and height size is customizable, you can set the size you prefer .
6.Click on 'Publish' button .

If you encounter any issues please reply here and I'll try to help you solving your problem .

I actually have two questions. The first is: is there a way to make my slide show continuous? Right now when it gets to the last slide it just rewinds back to the first slide. How can I set it up so that it reloads the first slide after the last slide and runs continuously without it rewinding. My second question is: I am inserting this slideshow into a website running off of a content management system, so what is the best way to do this to make sure the watermark won't show up.

Hello Team,

My client recently upgraded SlideshowBox v1.1.3. We are using SimpleThumbview's Embed_JavaScript version. It provides SimpleThumbview.js.

Now what I did is just un-compressed that javascript file using "jsbeautifier.org". After doing that it's not working in IE9. It gives an error like,

Message: 'G_vmlCanvasManager' is undefined
Line: 3650
Char: 17
Code: 0

Can you please let us know if we could do anything in this? As we need to do some more customization as per the client requirement. So we desperately need un-compressed version of the same.

Good morning I am new and I have download the version of valuation in flash of slideshowbox 2 for tested before buying it for 2 sites. All takes place well in Adobe flash CS4 the diaporama works without problem when I control in local mode on my computer. But once on the site it does not show pictures. I have thing of the missing some however photographs in format medium and open sea and the source code xml are in the same file with indication of ways. I tried several possibilities of way but nothing is made there it does not walk
I try unsuccessfully to look at the video of demonstration but it is a bit blurred the stories of codes. Thanks for your help if it step I buy for 2 sites and to excuse me for translation but I am in France

Hello,

Is it possible to add rounded corners to the slideshow? I now did it with z-index on my website and put rounded images on the corners of the slideshow. But I think that's not really a nice method.

Secondly, is it possible to have a separate thumbnail scroller instead of a thumbnail viewer in the slideshow itself?

We have just made a silent update to our SlideshowBox component.
- The JavaScript version of the templates have been updated so that the audio will work on iOS devices: when viewed on iOS, the audio player will automatically load with the audioPlayMode property set to audioOff.
- We also fixed a bug in the JavaScript SimpleFadeThumbview template which did not allow the large images to vertically center when the control bar was always visible (autoHideControls: false).

My question is; do I have to save my own audio icon on & off (like a speaker) in my folder or not?
Also the audio file, for example music.mp3 do I need the extension mp3?

I am evaluating Slideshowbox 2.0 (html) and like what I see. When I publish to my local test server all works as designed, however when I publish to my Host (NetworkSolutions) the page is displayed but the Slideshow does not display. I have other java scipt that works for other funtions (ie, menu). Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Hi if we buy a 10 user liscence and set up galleries on a number of our customers websites, will our customers then be able to upload / remove images themselves and from their own PC's without them also having to buy the software and without uploading via FTP?

Can they upload images onto their sites via a control panel or something like that once we have set it up?

If you could reply urgently as we need to buy if this is how we can use it.

I'm really considering buying this, however I was wondering if you could help me with one thing:

Is there the possibility that the source.xml could be modified so that all the images in the folder were detected automatically?
What I'm trying to do it upload the images via FTP to the folder, and then refresh the slideshow and make them appear automatically.

Into adobe flash 5.0 created swf file works perfectly, but when I upload the swf file to my website all I can see is a blank white box with no photographs or motion, the watermark is not present
